Be an appropriate media service for the cultural and economic independence of Indigenous people.

BIMA is a First Nations not-for-profit organisation based in Brisbane committed to providing appropriate media services promoting the cultural and economic aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in south-east Queensland. BIMA owns 98.9fm, Triple A Training, BIMA Projects and BIMA Vision.

98.9fm

Triple A Murri Country is the first Indigenous radio station in a capital city, playing a great blend of Country and Indigenous music.

Triple A Murri Country is owned by the Brisbane Indigenous Media Association which successfully applied for a 24-hour community radio licence allocated by the Australian Broadcasting Tribunal for the city in 1991.

Triple A Vision

With a state-of-the-art television studio equipped with the latest in visual and audio technologies, BIMA Vision can facilitate your new TVC, corporate video, documentary or video link-up at affordable rates. We also have studio and sound facilities for hire.

Triple A Training

Triple A Training delivers a suite of short courses in media through radio, podcasting, film and video and social media.

BIMA Projects

BIMA Projects is a creative team of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander media workers.

We create culturally-appropriate radio, print and online resources for First Nations people of Australia on a broad range of topics covering health, education, employment, law, housing and culture.
