Jonathan messages to mob

1. If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms even if they are mild symptoms, then it’s important to go and get tested for reassurance.

2. There will be an increase in road traffic now that we can drive and travel again, a reminder for all planning to travel to stay vigilant and aware of the fact some drivers may not have been behind the wheel for some time.

3. While it’s great some restrictions have eased, let’s continue to make smart choices and follow the safeguards that are still in place such as practicing social distancing, keeping hands clean and if your thinking you may have the flu then seek medical attention and perhaps call your health clinic in advance.

Tune in 8:00 am Monday, Wednesday and Friday for more up-to-date news on the pandemic with Dr Jonathan Leitch.

Today we extended upon the risks of relaxing the self-isolation laws and getting tested before going into the weekend. We also spoke about the increase of cars on the roads and a reminder to stay vigilant and aware as some drivers may not have been behind the wheel for a few weeks. Also, be aware of L plater drivers getting their hours up.

All good news at this point but it’s certainly no time to do anything irresponsible and the laws of social distancing and visitors to the home, still stand.

With so much new information coming to light, some of these discussions and answers won’t be the final word from our doctor. New content will be updated, so keep an ear out.
