We take a look at former national advisory bodies like The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC) (1990–2005, The National Congress of Australia’s First Peoples (Congress), Statment from the Heart and Voice to Parliament. We talk about strength and weaknesses of these groups and how we can improve on them to better advocate for our people.
