Transport for NSW has proposed destroying seven out of eight Aboriginal cultural trees as part of its realignment of the Barton Highway from south of the world NSW/ACT border towards Murrumbateman. The trees have been identified by registered Aboriginal parties and cultural experts, who have confirmed that a scar tree, a ring tree and several other cultural trees, are culturally significant.

If you will like to help save these trees please sign this petition: https://www.change.org/p/barton-highway-upgrade-alliance-protect-aboriginal-and-ecological-heritage-sites-along-the-barton-highway?utm_content=cl_sharecopy_30884617_en-AU%3A7&recruiter=27306884&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink&utm_campaign=share_petition
