There have since been vigils held as far as Los Angeles.

The death of this young fella gained media attention across the globe including the UK’s largest broadcaster with reports on the BBC. One journalist by the name of Kate Banville was there with us at King George Square last week where she interviewed Aunty Gracelyn Smallwood, Uncle Coco Wharton among other community members Who pointed out the notable absence of our Premier.

It was good enough for the Prime Minister to concede this was a racially motivated attack and pay tribute to our First Nations community… but our Premier. We question why she didn’t join us mob in solidarity, with journalist Kate Banville.
