General info about the anniversary and 50 years of ATSICHS Brisbane
ATSICHS Brisbane was established in a converted shop front at Red Hill 14 May 1973.
Today we proudly provide five medical clinics, two dental clinics, a midwifery hub, child and family health services, youth services, housing services social and emotional wellbeing programs and services, an aged care facility and a variety of family and child support services including child protection, a children and family centre at Waterford West, kindergarten programs and family wellbeing services.
Over the past 5 decades we’ve seen huge changes…. From the number of services we provide, our additional locations, the rise in our staffing, to most importantly the number of Indigenous mob we assist with health and wellbeing services.
We have just over 400 staff today
For the year we’ll be highlighting where we’ve come from, our journey, achievements and where we are today.
We’ll be celebrating the anniversaries of our services opening, our staff, a family fun day in the Sept/Oct school holidays and other community events will be happening so everyone can join in and celebrate with us. (And NAIDOC events as always will take place)
