Today we're catching up with Barbara Shaw – a town camp resident and vocal opponent of the Northern Territory Intervention since its introduction in 2007 by the Howard government in response to the Little Children are Sacred report examining ways to better protect Aboriginal children from sexual abuse the intervention was continued by the subsequent Labor governments led by Kevin Rudd and now Julia Gillard. Barbara is with the Intervention Rollback Action Group, stood as a Greens candidate at the last Federal election.
