Today Tiga Bayles spoke with Dr Mark Wenitong who is the senior
medical officer at Wuchopperen Health Service, Cairns, and the
medical advisor for Apunipima Cape York Health Council. He is also the immediate past president and founding member of the Australian Indigenous Doctors Association and the winner of the Australian Medical Association's (AMA) Excellence in Health Care Award 2011 for the development of Indigenous health workforce policy.
