This week on Let’s Talk – Social Justice, Kevin catches up with Palestinian writer, editor, filmmaker and activist Muhib Nabulsi. Muhib offers us a sense of the global struggle for Palestinian liberation which has grown in response to the recent brutal escalation of Israel’s genocidal project, particularly in Gaza and the West Bank. We talk through the horrifying events of the past month, and the specific complicity of the so-called australian political establishment and media in normalising and legitimising Israel’s genocidal violence.

In this important interview, we dig into some of the ways that communities across the world are organising against the brutal occupation and siege taking place in Gaza and beyond: from mass protests, to disruptive civil disobedience, to boycott and divestment actions, strike actions, leveraging electoral pressure, and internationalist solidarity building. We learn about the long history of Palestinian resistance, and the deep linkages between Palestinian liberation and the liberation of First Nations peoples globally.

So if you’ve been looking for a way to get connected to the struggle, this is it! There’s no shortage of work to do, and we need all of us. None of us are free until all of us are free.
