Two cyclones last year has caused significant damage to roads across the Pilbara.  The second-most isolated Aboriginal community in the region is Punmu, home to 130 Martu people.  The Punmu Road into the community is virtually impassable and there’s no indication from the local shire if the road will be repaired.  Karen Dorante spoke to co-ordinator of the local store who is worried about dwindling food supplies.
