Lisa Oliver is a Gamilaraay woman from Tamworth NSW with family from Moree and Boggabilla.  Based in Brisbane with her husband and stepchildren, Lisa is studying a Master of Education by Research at UTS on a Jumbunna postgraduate scholarship in the Centre for the Advancement of Indigenous Knowledges. Her research is exploring the concept ‘sistergirl’ and what it means to Aboriginal women.
