In this episode, Kevin and Amy talk about the intersections of gender, race, class, and violence in the colony, and the specific ways that violence against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women is represented and erased by the mainstream media. Together, they work to uncover and understand how the state disappears racial and gendered violence and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and gender diverse people who are subjected to it.
