Prof Chris Cunneen is a professor of criminology in the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales and has written extensively on juvenile justice. He joins Amy McQuire to discuss the recently released Amnesty International report into juvenile detention in Queensland.
Amy also discusses later in the programme the recent Kalgoorlie uprising, sparked by the death of an Aboriginal teenager. A 55-year-old non-Indigenous man has been charged with his manslaughter.
