Award-winning and phenomenal fashion designer Grace Lillian Lee discusses her upcoming debut solo exhibition The Dream Weaver: Guardians of Grace. As a proud Meriam Mer woman from the Eastern Island of the Torres Strait with Chinese heritage, Grace’s exhibition explores the threads woven to influence who she is today. Using traditional weaving methods, taught to her on Country, she mixes past and present, of both self and culture, to further truthtelling about history. In a special collaboration with Jean-Paul Gaultier, Grace designed a unique structural couture piece for the Fashion Freak Show.
