Karen Dorante spoke with New South Wales Moree Elder, Lyall Munroe Senior. They spoke about his life and a significant day in Moree when a number of local Aboriginal elders gathered at the Dhiiyaan Indigenous Centre to not only make, but record, history. The elders gathered as part of a project to record their oral history, which will be produced into a DVD and booklet, to keep the culture alive for future generations.
