Today Karen Dorante spoke with an art marker, artistic director and community development professional Walbira Murray. You may know her through her installation art such as the Sorry Tree – an exploration of First Nations and non-Indigenous people's response to the National Apology made with eucalyptus trees painted like scarred trees with a transcript of the PMs historic speech stuck with contact on the trees. The installation ends with a lone tree spayed with white ochre and decorated with handmade leaves containing responses to the apology from people.
