To raise awareness about the critical loss of Indigenous languages, the United Nations deemed 2022-2032 the International Decade of Indigenous Languages.  Samuel Daniels, executive office or IDIL-Australia says Australia needs to step up its efforts to maintain, preserve and revive Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages.
